Two young children were hospitalized Saturday night after nearly drowning in a swimming pool in Lowell, Massachusetts.
Police responded to a home on Freda Lane just after 9 p.m.
According to the Lowell Sun, the preschool age children were at a birthday party when they were found unresponsive in the backyard pool.
The paper reported that both children, a boy and a girl, were first taken to Lowell General Hospital, then by medical helicopters to a Boston hospital.
There's no word on either of their conditions.
The incident is under investigation.
