Two Teens Dead, One Injured in Maine Speeding Crash

Two teens were killed and another injured in a crash Saturday night in Union, Maine, police said.

WCSH 6 reports the crash happened near midnight on Wonlton's Mill Road.

Officials report that an officer attempted to stop the vehicle speeding before the crash, but the driver didn't respond to the officer's signals.

The officer at the scene followed the vehicle until it was out of sight, later finding it crashed about two miles along. Both teens in the front of the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. The third teen was transported for medical attention.

Police said the driver had been pulled over an hour prior for speeding, but was alone.
