UMass Amherst Student Found Dead

Chloe Malast of Needham, Massachusetts, died of natural causes in the school's McNamara Hall.

 A University of Massachusetts Amherst student found dead in her dorm room has been identified.

The Northwestern District Attorney's office confirms that 21-year-old Chloe Malast of Needham died of what appear to be natural causes.

Foul play is not suspected.

Malast was a member of the school's Commonwealth Honors College. The university offered its condolences to Malast's family in a statement Monday.

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of Malast's death.
