A Boston Uber driver has been indicted in connection with an alleged sexual assault, according to the Middlesex District Attorney's office.

Alejandro Done, 46, of Boston, has been indicted on three counts of aggravated rape, kidnapping, and two counts of assault and battery. His arraignment has not yet been scheduled.

Authorities allege that around 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 6, Done drove to a resident on Tremont Street to pick up a woman who was waiting for a pre-arranged ride-sharing driver. Done allegedly told the woman she had to pay in cash and stopped at an ATM. When she returned to the car, prosecutors say Done drove to a location unknown to the victim and strangled and sexually assaulted her.

Cambridge Police say they began an immediate investigation and Uber has fully cooperated.
