2 More Suspects Arrested in Gruesome Murder, Burglary Case in Marshfield, Mass.

Two more suspects have been arrested in connection to the gruesome murder of a man inside his home in Marshfield, Massachusetts.

Friday, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz announced the arrests of 32-year-old attorney Michael Moscaritolo and his girlfriend, 31-year-old Lauren Kalil, both residents of Quincy.

"We said it and we meant it," said Marshfield Police Chief Phil Tavares. "We told them we were coming for them, and we did."

Robert McKenna was found dead in his Damon Point Road home on Sept. 17. Prosecutors described the scene as "horrific," saying that he died of excessive blood loss from stab wounds to his upper arm, hands and head. On Sept. 28, James Ferguson was arrested on murder and burglary charges.

Like Ferguson, Moscaritolo faces charges of murder and burglary. Kalil was charged as an accessory to murder after the fact.

Moscaritolo and Ferguson allegedly stole assault weapons from McKenna's home. Police recovered five guns that were stolen from the home. McKenna owned four of them, including an AR-15 and an AK-47.

"To the residents of Marshfield, sleep well tonight. Those dangerous assault rifles are off the street," said Tavares. "And to the family and friends of Mr. McKenna, know that justice will prevail."

Necn attempted to speak with Moscaritolo's mother, but she did not want to comment.
