Vermont Peanut Butter Named Official Peanut Butter of the Boston Red Sox

The Morrisville, Vermont, company teamed up with the Sox Tuesday

The Morrisville, Vermont-based company the "Vermont Peanut Butter Company" is the official peanut butter of the Boston Red Sox.

The company made the announcement on their Facebook page Tuesday morning.

According to WPTZ, the company's founder Chris Kaiser was contacted by the Red Sox who "wanted to partner with a healthy, New England brand."

Each jar of peanut butter is going to look different to reflect the new partnership with the baseball team.

Kaiser also told WPTZ, "This entire corner is now going to be open, to be able to put the Red Sox logo on there. So it will be very noticeable. It will be the biggest thing on the label."

The company will also be the official company of the Pawtucket Paw Sox, the AAA affiliate of the Red Sox.
