Vermont Sheriff's Dispatcher Charged With Aiding Burglary

A dispatcher for a Vermont county sheriff's office faces charges after police say she let her boyfriend and another man into restricted areas of the facility, where they stole prescription medication and other property and evidence.

The Valley News reports that 25-year-old Sonya Lowe, of Barre City, a dispatcher for the Orange County sheriff in Chelsea, will face nine charges stemming from three incidents in November.

The two men, 25-year-old Jeremiah Sadler, of Barre, and 23-year-old Kyle Larrabee, of Washington, allegedly engaged police in a motor vehicle chase on Thursday in Williston, Vermont. The chase ended in Moretown when the vehicle Sadler was driving crashed into two full-size state Agency of Transportation plow trucks.

It could not immediately be determined if the three have lawyers.
