Victim Stabs Suspect in Gas Station Robbery: Police

A man who was trying to rob a Valero gas station in Bristol was stabbed by a victim of the robbery, according to police.

Joshua Daniels, 26, of Bristol, was stabbed while trying to rob the Valero gas station at 228 Pine Street in Bristol just before 11 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, police said.

Daniels was armed and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police identified him on Jan. 4 as Joshua Daniels, 26, of Bristol.

He was charged with first-degree criminal attempted robbery and first-degree criminal attempt.

He was held on a $50,000 bond.
