Police in Middlebury, Vermont, have identified the remains of a hiker who was found dead last week.
A hiker called police around noon and reported finding a body in the woods between Court Street Extension and Seminary Street Extension.
The remains have been identified as Sun Mi Shin, a 28-year old woman, a Korean national, from Fairfax, Virginia.
Police have not determined the cause of her death.
The incident remains under investigation.
