Vt. Man's Body Pulled From River in N.H.

New Hampshire Fish and Game officials say 24-year-old Scott Way, of St. Johnsbury, Vermont, was found in Littleton Sunday afternoon

Rescuers have pulled a Vermont man's body from the Connecticut River in New Hampshire.

New Hampshire Fish and Game officials say 24-year-old Scott Way, of St. Johnsbury, Vermont, was found in Littleton Sunday afternoon.

Officials say Way was swimming with friends Saturday morning near the Pine Island Picnic Area. He was reported missing by his family that afternoon.

New England K-9 Search and Rescue and Littleton authorities assisted in the search.

Dive teams recovered the body around 1 p.m. Sunday.

The drowning remains under investigation by Marine Patrol and Littleton police.
