Wanted NJ Residents Arrested After Police Chase in NH

New Hampshire State Police have arrested two individuals from New Jersey after the motorist failed to stop and a police chase ensued.

New Hampshire State Police have arrested two individuals from New Jersey after the motorist failed to stop and a police chase ensued.

On Friday around 1:20 p.m., a trooper attempted to stop a vehicle on River Road in Westmoreland.

The vehicle accelerated and a police pursuit began. During the pursuit, spike strips were deployed and deflated several of the vehicle's tires.

Police ultimately arrested the motorist, Christopher Torruellas, 22, of New Jersey. His passenger, Christian Torruellas, 22, of New Jersey fled from the scene on foot and was taken into custody about 45 minutes later.

Christopher Torruellas is wanted by New Jersey for robbery. There is currently a federal warrant for Christian Torruellas for the charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Both Christopher and Christian Torruellas are being held at the Cheshire County House of Correction.
