Willimantic police arrested a 34-year-old man accused of attacking a 76-year-old.
Christopher Landry, 34, of Willimantic, is facing assault on an elderly person and breach of peace charges after police say a verbal dispute with a 76-year-old he lives with escalated into a physical altercation, police said. He assaulted the elderly individual in the domestic incident that happened on Jan. 5, police said.
He appeared in Danielson Superior Court Monday morning and his bond was set at $10,000.
Police said they aren't releasing the victim's name.
