Willimantic police have arrested a woman accused of running a prostitution ring.
Police said Sheila Velasquez was arrested at her home Wednesday evening. She is charged with promoting prostitution and is being held on a $100,000 surety bond.
Police said she was arrested after an investigation into the activity that began on December 2, 2015. She is expected in Danielson Superior Court Thursday.
