Woman Charged With DWI After Hit-and-Run

Police say 48-year-old Corrine Howard was driving drunk with an open bottle of Merlot when she crashed into a vehicle in Pelham, New Hampshire.

A woman has been charged with aggravated DWI after police say she struck another woman's car and took off in Pelham, New Hampshire, Friday night.

Pelham Police say that 48-year-old Corrine Howard had an open bottle of Merlot on the driver's seat when they pulled her over on Pinewood Drive.

After the vehicle was struck at Pelham Veterans' Memorial Park, another caller reported that she had almost been hit by a similar dark sedan in the park.

A third caller told police that a woman had dropped off children, who said that she was drunk, and drove off in her Hyundai Sonata.

Howard is charged with aggravated DWI, conduct after an accident and transporting alcoholic beverages. She was released on $2,500 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 3.
