Maine State Police say a woman was killed when her car crashed into a tree in Alfred Thursday morning.
The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. on Whichers Mills Road.
The woman, who has not been identified, was the only person in the vehicle.
There is no apparent reason why her car left the road.
