Woman Killed in New Hampshire Fire Identified

The cause of death was smoke inhalation

The New Hampshire State Fire Marshal said the woman killed in Monday's fatal fire in Nashua has been identified.

An autopsy conducted on Tuesday morning identified the woman as Maria Barriga-Consoni, 37, of Nashua. The cause of death was smoke inhalation and the manner of death was accidental.

The joint investigation into the origin and cause of the fire is ongoing. FIre officials have said it is believed that the fire started on an outside porch and spread throughout the interior of the building.

Several others - including at least three children - were reportedly injured in the early morning fire at 4-6 Girouard Ave.
