Woman Seriously Injured After Pinned Beneath Car

Slick road conditions were to blame for the treacherous driving

A woman was seriously injured in a car crash along I-393 westbound in Concord, New Hampshire, on Friday morning.

Jennifer Williams, 29, lost control of her Subaru Forrester as steady snowfall caused for slick road conditions. Williams struck a concrete median before coming to rest against the guard rail on the right side of the highway.

A short time later, 60-year-old Thomas Carr, lost control of his Chrylser Concord, and stuck the rear of Williams' car. The car slid into Williams and trapped her underneath.

Northfield Police came to the aid of Williams a short while later. Williams was taken to the Concord Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
