Woman Struck by Bullet Fragments in Boston

The 21-year-old victim took herself to Boston Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries

Boston Police say a woman was struck by bullet fragments in the city’s South End Monday night. 

The incident happened in the area of 15 Gavin Way around 11 p.m. 

The 21-year-old victim took herself to Boston Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Police say another shooting happened in the city’s Dorchester neighborhood around the same time. 

The victim in that shooting also transported himself to Boston Medical Center. 

The incidents remain under investigation.
