An older woman has been struck and killed by a pick-up truck in Dedham, Massachusetts.
The victim has been identified as Anne McIntyre, 70, of Dedham. She was pronounced dead at Norwood Hospital.
Police closed High Street at Linden Place as they investigated the crash that occurred around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The 25-year-old Boston man who struck McIntyre cooperated with police. He immediately called 911 and has not been charged.
Dedham Police, Dedham Fire and a Massachusetts State Police Accident Reconstruction team are investigating. They are looking into solar glare as a possible contributing factor.
