Police responded early Friday morning to a single vehicle rollover with entrapment crash on I-91 in Vernon, Vermont.
The operator of the vehicle, Kimberly Hoisington, 55, of Berlin was found lying on the side of the roadway, complaining of numerous injuries.
Due to the seriousness of the victim's injuries, Hoisington was transported to the BayState Medical Center in Massachusetts via an emergency medical helicopter.
An investigation reveals that Hoisington was headed northbound on I-91 when she exited the paved roadway, entering the median. Her vehicle traveled in the median and crossed a paved U-Turn. The vehicle then began rolling until it came to a stop in the middle of the high-speed travel lane.
The vehicle is a total loss.
