A tree worker has been MedFlighted after part of a tree fell on him in Littleton, Massachusetts, according to police.
The 26-year-old Ayer man was working on an 80-foot pine tree at 84 New Estate Road when a section of the tree fell and struck him in the head.
Littleton Police say he was MedFlighted to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester with life-threatening injuries.
The worker is employed by MEZ Tree Company, of Harvard.
Officials say the incident is under investigation.
