But Friday night, after a disappointing loss against the Detroit Tigers, an emergency brought in crews.
"All of the sudden, we heard a siren approaching, and then EMS people coming in with one gurney," said Jim Crotty.

"Ambulance showed up, the cops showed up, the fire trucks showed up, they just swarmed this whole area," said vendor Chris Coppola.
At 11:15 p.m. at Gate B, 22-year-old Boston University senior Lizzy Scotland plummeted 20 to 30 feet down an elevator shaft. She was taken to an area hospital in serious condition.
It happened on the fourth floor, when according to officials, the elevator shaft doors opened and the young woman fell to the roof of the elevator on the second floor.
"Freak accidents, unfortunately, can happen anywhere," said Crotty. "It's certainly no reflection to me on Fenway or the safety or security of it."
Fire crews boosted themselves to the second floor with chairs to rescue the woman, who was transported in serious condition.

"It shouldn't have faulty equipment," said Coppola. "They should be checking the stuff regularly."
The elevator is now out of commission as an investigation into how it all happened continues.
The Red Sox released a statement, saying that team officials responded to the emergency immediately and have worked alongside Boston emergency crews throughout the ordeal.
BU issued a statement on Monday saying that Scotland had just graduated from the school earlier on Friday with a bachelor's degree from the School of Management.
"Boston University was very saddened to hear about the
tragic incident involving Elizabeth Scotland," the university said in a statement. "Our entire community’s thoughts
and prayers are with her and the family, and we are all wishing her a full and
