Convicted Cop Killer to Go Before Supreme Court

(NECN) - In New Hampshire, a convicted cop killer who's now on death row will see his case go before the state's Supreme Court this fall.

Lawyers for Michael Addison will have a full day before the court to argue that his sentence and conviction be overturned.

Addison was convicted back in 2008 for the 2006 murder of Manchester officer Michael Briggs.

But now his attorneys are raising questions about everything, from the initial decision to hold the trial in Manchester to the constitutionality of the state's death penalty statute.
