East Boston Murder Suspect to Be Arraigned

(NECN: Justin Michaels, East Boston) - Some disturbing details are emerging, about the murder of an East Boston man.

Cristian Santa is scheduled to face a judge on Monday, accused of stabbing John Barrientos to death.

Boston Police homicide detectives arrested Santa, 20, of Revere, Mass., on Sunday night.

Santa is charged with a single count of murder for 50-year-old Barrientos' death, which was first reported early Friday morning.

More details are expected to be revealed at Santa's arraignment on Monday, including the possibility that Barrientos was stabbed as many as 80 times.
