Two Women Arrested on Bentley Campus

(NECN: Jennifer Eagan, Waltham, Mass.) - Two women were arrested on the Bentley University campus early Wednesday morning, according to police.

Both women were charged with armed robbery, as well as assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The only women in the Waltham Police Department overnight arrest logs are Sarah Monta and Breanne Fraser.

Bentley University Police received a report of an on-campus stabbing in Fenway Residence Hall early Wednesday morning.

In a statement, Bentley said a male student had been transported to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries, and that two female non-students were arrested. The university also said the attack was not a random act and that the individuals knew each other.

The two non-students were arrested by Waltham Police, according to the statement. Neither agency has confirmed that Monta and Fraser are connected to the alleged stabbing.
