Evan Falchuk on His Energetic Campaign for Massachusetts Governor

Falchuk is one of three independent candidates in the race for Mass. governor

Evan Falchuk went toe-to-toe with opponents Martha Coakley and Charlie Baker in a recent debate on WBZ-TV.

Falchuk, who is running an energetic campaign, is one of three independents in the race for Massachusetts governor.

But the Bay State's top job isn't the only thing he's set his sights on. Falchuk hopes to establish the future basis for his United Independent Party to have a place on the ballot.

According to Falchuk, Democrat Coakley and Republican Baker have both enabled high health care costs by allowing hospitals to take control.

"What I'm proposing is that we change the economics of health care so that the incentives are there for hospitals to keep people well rather than waiting for people to show up when they're sick," he said.
