Issues Plague MBTA

Beverly Scott will be on board as the MBTA's general manager until April 11.

But the MassDOT board has seemingly wasted no time starting the process of finding her replacement.

Two days after Scott resigned, following a unanimous vote of confidence from the board, it is meeting again in an emergency executive session.

The MBTA says the session is being held to allow the board to address strategy in preparation for negotiations with non-union personnel. But other reports suggest the meeting is being held to discuss the search for a new general manager.
