Jeb Bush Leads GOP Field in Latest NH Primary Poll

Hillary Clinton still leads by a wide margin among Democrats

Jeb Bush is leading the GOP field among potential 2016 New Hampshire Primary candidates, according to a new Bloomberg Politics/Saint Anselm College poll.

The survey, conducted from Jan. 31 to Feb. 5, has the former Florida governor as the first choice among New Hampshire Republicans, followed by Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

Both Paul and Christie have made numerous stops in New Hampshire over the past year, and Walker is scheduled to be there in March. Bush has yet to announce a visit to the Granite State.

Other recent polls had Bush and Walker leading the way.. A WMUR poll released Feb. 6 had Bush in the lead, followed closely by Walker. And a NH1 poll released Feb. 4 had Walker in front, with Bush in second.

Hillary Clinton continues to lead the Democratic field by a wide margin.

The Bloomberg poll has her leading Elizabeth Warren by a 56 percent to 15 percent margin, and Warren has said she isn't running. Clinton leads Warren 58 percent to 14 percent in the WMUR poll. The NH1 poll surveyed only Republicans.
