One day after formally announcing his run for presidency, he's holding an announcement rally in Derry

Newly declared Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush says he is the presidential candidate that can help the economy grow.

The former Florida governor is speaking at a town-hall event in the key Republican primary state of New Hampshire a day after announcing his candidacy for the 2016 race.

Bush began the event at the Adams Memorial Opera House on Tuesday with his back turned to the audience for an interview with television and radio host Sean Hannity.

Bush repeatedly criticized Democratic front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton, calling her a formidable candidate but questioning her accomplishments.

He also emphasized Washington's dysfunction and spoke of his goal of 4 percent annual growth for the economy.
