Kennedy: “Something has to be done” about ISIS

Threat of ISIS to America continues to grow

Malala Yousafzai is Muslim and Pakistani. Her first act after accepting the Peace Prize was to pay tribute to the co-winner of the award, Kailash Satyarthi, a 60-year-old Hindu from India, and a leader in the fight to protect child workers from abuse.

Malala's story is just one of several politically driven happenings that made headlines this week.

The Ebola outbreak infiltrating America, airport screenings, ISIS, and President Barrack Obama's handling of his military commanders were also in the news.

Joe Kennedy, Democratic Congressman from Brookline, Massachusetts, joined Jim Braude on Broadside to discuss it all.

The two spent the bulk of their time discussing the growing threat of ISIS.

"ISIS is a direct threat to our assets, our allies, and the United States. Something has to be done," said Kennedy.
