John Miller and Maura Healey face off in their only televised debate before Election Day

The candidates in the contest for Massachusetts' attorney general met Wednesday evening on NECN's Broadside.

John Miller, the Republican candidate, is a Winchester resident and attorney with expertise in construction law and public contracts. He also holds a degree in civil engineering from MIT. He was unopposed in the 2014 Republican primary.

Maura Healey, the Democratic candidate, is a Charlestown resident. She served as an assistant attorney general under Martha Coakley. Prior to that, she was an assistant district attorney in Middlesex County, and in September, she defeated Warren Tolman in the Democratic primary.

Broadside host Jim Braude was the moderator for the only televised debate between the candidates.
