Massachusetts Democratic Representative Joe Kennedy joined NECN to discuss the message voters sent on Tuesday.
How will the New England agenda be affected by the new New England delegation and the GOP majority in both the House and Senate?
Congressman Kennedy says the message Democrats heard from voters was for Washington to get to work and focus on the economy. He adds that it will take some time to grasp a significant understanding of what the newly shaped Congress' goals are and develop working relationships.
In addition, Congressman Kennedy provided an update on his manufacturing bill- a piece of legislation that actually did get through the House. He says the bill grew over 50 Republican co-sponsors.
Congressman Kennedy also discussed the 2016 election.
