Possible 2016 GOP Presidential Candidate Ben Carson Visits New Hampshire

He is scheduled to make two public appearances

Potential 2016 GOP presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson is making his first visit to New Hampshire on Monday.

Carson visited the Union Leader on Monday morning, and is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the 9th annual "Keeping the Dream Alive" conference at the Radisson in Manchester around noon. He will also hold a meet and greet at the Hollis Pharmacy at 4:15 p.m.

The Washington Times reported Monday that Carson's presidential exploratory committee raised more than $2 million in less than a month.

The retired neurosurgeon has generated some controversy recently for saying that he believes being gay is a choice. He later apologized for his statements.
