Presidential Candidates Heading to Connecticut, Rhode Island, Ahead of Tuesday Primaries

With their presidential primaries just days away, it's shaping up to be a busy weekend for politics in Connecticut and Rhode Island.

Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton plans to visit Central Falls High School in Rhode Island on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. She's also scheduled to campaign in New Haven, Connecticut, on Saturday and Bridgeport Sunday. Details on those stops have yet to be announced.

Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders will hold a rally in Providence, Rhode Island, at noon on Sunday, featuring actress Shailene Woodley. He'll hold another rally at 7 p.m. in New Haven, Connecticut featuring R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe. He'll hold another rally in Hartford, Connecticut, at 10 a.m. on Monday.

On the Republican side, John Kasich previously announced an 11 a.m. appearance Saturday at Bryant University in Smithfield. He's making an appearance in Glastonbury, Connecticut, on Friday night.

Donald Trump has two scheduled Connecticut events on Saturday, but hasn't announced a Rhode Island visit.

Ted Cruz's campaign in Rhode Island has said there's no indication he'll visit the state. He also has no scheduled events in Connecticut as of yet.

Rhode Island, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware are all holding primaries on Tuesday.
