Rep. Lynch on Congressional Delegation's Middle East Visit

U.S. Rep. Stephen Lynch led the delegation to Iraq and Turkey to meet with Kurdish and Syrian opposition leaders in the fight against ISIS

Last week, a congressional delegation visited Iraq and Turkey and met with Kurdish and Syrian opposition leaders in the fight against ISIS.

U.S. Rep. Stephen Lynch, a Democrat of South Boston, was leading the delegation.

"From the very beginning, the military has said airstrikes wouldn't be enough," he said. "When we've had effective forces on the ground ... the U.S. airstrikes were very helpful to take both those positions. In other cases, especially in Syria ... there has not been an effective ground force to take advantage of the destruction created by those airstrikes, and so that's been the difference."

Lynch also talks about the U.S.' response to Ebola abroad and at home.
