Rick Perry Returns to New Hampshire Eyeing 2016 Bid

He last visited the state in November

Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry is returning to New Hampshire as he prepares for a possible presidential campaign.

Perry, who dropped out of the 2012 race shortly after finishing sixth in New Hampshire's Republican primary, is speaking at a business gathering in Bedford on Wednesday afternoon. He's also the keynote speaker at Republican dinners Wednesday night in Portsmouth and Thursday night in Dover.

Perry last visited the state in November, outlining three areas where he thinks Republicans should focus their attention: Energy, tax policy and securing the border. He also criticized Obama's foreign policy and spoke about the need to rebuild the U.S. military.

He said he won't make a decision about a 2016 campaign until at least May.
