"I'm John Tierney, and I'm asking you to vote for Seth Moulton."
Yes, you read that right. However, Moulton, a hopeful in the Democratic primary in Massachusetts' 6th Congressional District, wasn't endorsed by his opponent, John Tiereny, who has served in Congress since 1996.
Instead, Moulton's endorsement comes from journalist and former Boston College professor John Tierney.
In a web video, journalist Tierney explained why he's throwing his support behind Moulton.
"People have teased me in the past for sharing a name with Congressman John Tierney, but his ineffectiveness is no laughing matter," he said.
