Brady Files Motion to Vacate Upholding of Suspension

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has filed paperwork to reverse the NFL's upholding of his four-game suspension for the deflation of footballs in the AFC Championship Game.

Commissioner Roger Goodell denied Brady's suspension appeal in July. Friday, Brady's camp filed its motion to vacate Goodell's arbitration award.

The league, meanwhile, filed a motion to confirm the arbitration award, asking the New York federal court to uphold the punishment it levied against Brady.
