We're not sure whether he's throwing himself into an already crowded outfield mix or helping to shore up the team's rotation, but Julian Edelman says he is joining up with the Red Sox this spring!

The 28-year-old wide receiver took to Facebook to post a very doctored photo of himself in a Sox jersey, writing "I'm taking my talents to Fenway. #gosox #aprilfools."
Edelman is coming off a year in which he made 92 catches on 134 targets for 972 yards in the regular season, adding another 281 yards in the post season en route to the Patriots' Super Bowl victory.
The Red Sox will kick off their season Monday in Philadelphia.
