New Deflategate Report Surfaces

The NFL has said evidence shows that the Patriots used underinflated balls in the game

According to ESPN’s “Outside the Lines,” a Patriots locker-room attendant attempted to send an unapproved football onto the field in the first half of the AFC championship game.

They report that sources say Jim McNally, 48, tried to give a referee an unapproved special teams football.

Sources say the official noticed the ball did not have proper markings and noted that locker-room attendants don’t generally have ball-handling roles in games.

The New England Patriots beat the Indianapolis Colts 45-7. The NFL has said evidence shows that the Patriots used underinflated balls in the game.
