Boston Business Journal Report: Women in Tech and Science

BBJ reporter Sara Castellanos talks about 10 Boston-area women who have revolutionized the industries

The Boston Business Journal is celebrating women in Boston in the science and tech industries.

BBJ reporter Sara Castellanos says Oct. 15 is Ada Lovelace Day; Lovelace, the daughter of famous poet Lord Byron, was also a visionary in the field of science and technology.

"She is known as the first computer programmer ever. She sort of had this vision that machines could be used in all sorts of arenas and they could affect our lives in very different ways, so she was a real tech visionary," Castellanos said.
