A lot of iPhone users updated their phones with iOS8 over the weekend. It has a lot of new features, but does it work with all of the applications?
Damian Roskill is with Applause Inc. He's working with companies and developers to make sure the transition will be a seamless one, both for older phones and the new iPhone 6.
Roskill says there are two main differences between the new operating systems.
"The first one is extensions, which allows your apps to interact with other apps on your iPhone for the first time," Roskill said. "The second thing that's interesting about it is the new kits- home kit and also health kit- which allows us to interact with devices outside the iPhone out in the real world."
Roskill added that companies should update their apps as soon as possible so they are optimized for the new screen.
