Man Breaks Into Home, Gets Away With Ginger Ale

Police in Rehoboth, Mass. have not been able to locate a suspect

Police in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, are looking for a suspect who got away with some ginger ale from a home.

While en route, officers learned that a female resident had just discovered an unknown male standing in her kitchen. She locked herself in a bathroom and called 911.

Officers determined the point of entry to be a first floor kitchen window located near the rear of the home.

Officers were unable to locate the offender after conducting a search of the home and outlying area, including an adjacent golf course.

The victim described the man as being approximately 35-40 years old with a crew-cut type hair. She further describes him as 5'7" to 5'8" wearing a black T-shirt with the word "Boston" printed across the front.

The victim's mother arrived on scene while officers were present and she told police that nothing appeared to be missing from the home, except a bottle of Canada Dry ginger ale. The soda had been stored in the cooler on the porch.
