(NECN: Steve Aveson) - Does it feel like your kids are growing up faster than ever, maybe too fast? You're not alone.

The drive for children to try and act like adults is not new, what's different is the bombardment of powerful images distributed by the modern media. What used to be cute and adorable now has to be hot and sexy. It leaves many parents scared and frustrated.

Experts say the sexualization of children is putting them at risk.
