Hazy (smoke from fires in western Canada) mix of sun and clouds for most of New England today, though a mountain shower is possible, highs 80-85, wind from the southwest 10-20 mph. Tonight starts fair, with clouds returning late and a shower or thunderstorm by morning, low in the 60s. Strong to severe thunderstorms will cross west to east in central and southern New England tomorrow. Showers and weaker storms likely north. High near 80. Skies brighten a bit late tomorrow with drier weather late. Then overnight Sunday another round of storms arrives south late, low in the 60s. Another round of strong to severe thunderstorms is likely Monday, high in the 70s to low 80s. The stalled front here Tuesday and Wednesday means chance of a few showers each day, but looking direr mid week, high in the 70s to low 80s.
