Tracking Downpours - Flooding Possible
A cold upper low is spinning toward New England with surface low pressure tracking up the Connecticut River Valley Today. Rounds of heavy thunderstorms may cause flooding from southwest to northeast today. High in the 70s north, 80s south. Breaks of sunshine afternoon may fuel spotty strong to severe storms before sunset. Wind in Eastern Massachusetts and Maine is gusting past 20 mph from the south. Wind in western New England is near clam.
A cold front will be offshore tomorrow with mostly sunny skies and much lower humidity, High near 80, wind form the northwest 10-20 mph.
Wednesday through Friday features sun and clouds, afternoon showers possible, high near 80. A storm may back in off the ocean this weekend with cooler weather and clouds, and perhaps rain.
