Tim Burton exhibit arrives at MoMA; Depp, too

(NECN/APTN: New York, N.Y.) - Tim Burton has arrived at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

The visionary director loaned more than 700 drawings, paintings, photographs, storyboards, costumes and other cinematic ephemera to the museum for a wide-ranging exhibit opening this month and viewable by the public until spring.

Cat gets frisky with cop issuing ticket

(NECN) - A routine traffic stop turned into a true test of patience for a police officer in Texas.

A police cruiser dashboard camera shows the officer stopped in a rural driveway to write a citation. That was when a black kitten approached the officer, and proceeded to climb up his body.

The officer tried to push the cat away several time to no avail.

The driver offered to help, but the officer handled the situation himself.

The cat's owners said he is like that with everyone and simply loves to climb.

Will movie studio go up in Plymouth, Mass.?

(NECN: Plymouth, Mass.) - The office of Massachusetts Secretary of State William Galvin says it will review the paperwork of the proposed $650 million movie studio in Plymouth.

This is being done to ensure the company has clear ownership. Last week, a $550 million financing plan fell through. Now, Plymouth officials are questioning the future of the Plymouth Rock Studios.

In a demure voice, reminiscent of her big brother's, Janet blames Dr. Conrad Murray for Michael's death.

Until now, the five-time Grammy award-winning artist remained silent about her brother's death.

Sir Elton John attends annual AIDS Foundation benefit

(NECN/APTV) - Sir Elton John appeared to be in good health Monday night following a recent bout of E. Coli that saw him hospitalized and forced him to cancel shows.

The singer, who was New York for his annual AIDS Foundation benefit, said he didn't enjoy the hospital experience, but admitted that canceling his shows was the hardest thing about being ill.
