(TV Diner) - It's a Student-Chef Showdown this week on TV Diner!

Billy Costa is joined by Erica Corsano the Editorial Director for Stuff Boston, and Michael Diskin the Creative Director for Stuff Boston.

They are teaming up with Chef Nathan Rich from Asana at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel to form the judging trio for the competition.

The winning student chef will have their dish served by Chef Nathan at the TV Diner Platinum Plate Gala, presented by Dadgar Insurance!

The rising stars are from the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts and Le Cordon Blue.

Billy first introduced Student Chef Tony Sosa, from the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts.

Chef Tony presented his Far and Near East Pork Loin with Potato Globes and Sesame Green Beans to our panel of judges.

Tony is a first semester student and has been cooking for most of his life.

Student number two, Chef Craig White, from Le Cordon Bleu in Boston, served up his Sake and Yuzu Steamed Mussels with Green Tea Soba Noodles in a Dashi Broth.

Craig spoke to Bill about starting a new job on Monday at Rialto with James Beard award-winning chef/owner Jody Adams.

Chef Dan Jablow, from the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts was the third student chef.

He presented his Braised Short Ribs with Chinese BBQ Sauce Glaze, Braised Bok Choy and Mushroom Sticky Rice to our panel of judges.

The fourth presenter, Chef Victoria Shotton, from Le Cordon Bleu in Boston, dished up her version of an Asian Calamari Salad, and she got high remarks just for presentation!

Victoria has been in the industry for 25 years.
