Recipe: the Ginger Side

Bartender: Adam Dennis - BOKX 109 - Indigo Hotel - Newton MA

DRINK: Ginger Sidecar

Ingredients:

2 oz Pierre Ferrand Cognac

1 oz Ginger Liqueur

1 fresh squeezed lemon

splash of ginger reduced simple syrup

Directions:

Place two wafers of ginger in a glass, add a splash of simple syrup - Muddle together

Fill glass with ice, add 2 oz Cognac, 1 oz Ginger Liqueur, juice of 1 Lemon.

Cover glass, shake till frothy, and stain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist
