(TV Diner) - We're excited to be part of Hood's first-ever, New England Dairy Cook Off, and we brought in their Public Relations Specialist, Sarah Barow to tell you how you can get involved for a chance to win $10,000!

The first ever New England Dairy Cook-Off is presented by Hood Sour Cream where everyday home cooks have a chance to compete for a $10,000 grand prize.

Recipe submissions from all six New England states will be accepted in the following categories: Breakfast, Soups/Appetizers, Lunch/Dinner, Side Dishes, and Desserts.

Each recipe must include at least one qualifying Hood product: Hood Creams, Simply Smart Milks, Hood Milks, Hood Cottage Cheese, Hood Sour Cream, Hood Country Creamer, and Calorie Countdown.

Five semi-finalists from each of the six New England states will be chosen for a chance to compete in the Hood New England Dairy Cook-Off on November 1st, at the Ocean Gateway in Portland, Maine.

All recipes must be submitted by October 2nd, and the semi-finalists will be chosen by October 9th.
