Buses, Trains in Connecticut Shutting Down Due to Snowstorm

    The state is shutting down bus services along the shoreline towns due to blizzard-like conditions and Metro-North trains are also closing in Connecticut and New York. 

    CT Transit buses in Stamford, Norwalk, Greater Bridgeport and Milford and the Coastal Link will stop running for the day at noon, accroding to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. 

    Long Island Railroad, Metro-North Railroad and above-ground NYC Subway services in both New York and Connecticut are shutting down at 4 p.m. due to the snowstorm and for customer and employee safety. 

    New York City Transit and MTA bus services are also shutting down.
